Welcome to They Tried To Kill Us Off – the newly independent Luton Town podcast, hosted by Kev and Jimbo.
If you've noticed things look a little different... don't worry. You're in exactly the right place.
After nine seasons as the Luton Town Supporters' Trust Podcast, we're starting a new chapter. We're now an independent podcast, but we're still the same podcast you've been listening to and watching since 2017.
And if you're already subscribed to this podcast, you don't need to do a thing. Your subscription stays exactly where it is and you'll continue to get all our podcasts here as normal.
Our new moniker comes from a famous chant every Luton supporter knows. It's about resilience, sticking together and refusing to be beaten. Luton against the world. We think it perfectly captures what supporting this football club is all about.
We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone at the Luton Town Supporters' Trust for their support over the past nine seasons and for helping us get to where we are today. We're incredibly grateful for everything we've been able to do together and we're delighted that the podcast can continue into this new chapter.
And while this podcast channel remains exactly where it is, we've also got brand new social media accounts. We'd really appreciate it if you'd followed us there as well and join us for the next chapter:

The Town welcome Bradford City to Kenilworth Road for the early kick-off in what can only be described as a must-win match on Saturday afternoon.
Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe to look ahead to the contest and everything that has gone on since the Blackpool match.
The boys begin by reacting to the breaking news that the Hatters have been reinstated into the Vertu Trophy after Swindon Town were booted out of the competition.
Their attention then turns towards the last couple of days of the transfer window where all the ins, outs and the many rumours are covered in full.
The focus then goes onto the Bradford game including what we can expect from the visitors, how Jack Wilshere will go with his new options and what the Town need to do to come out on top in the match.

The Town returned to winning ways with a 1-0 win over Blackpool in a bit of a slog of a game of football in which Luton managed to get the job done in.
Kev is joined as always by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe to look back on an afternoon where just winning had to be the overall aim.
The boys discuss the game, the bits where it looked good for Luton and then the parts where there is clearly room for improvement.
In and around that, the lads look at the transfer activity and how that is shaping the bigger picture and why the style currently being employed is worth persevering with.
The podcast concludes with a look ahead to the final day of the transfer window and what we could expect to see.
All this and so much more on the longest-running, award winning Luton Town podcast!

It was one of the worst nights at the office that Luton Town have produced in recent memory when they went down to 10-man Huddersfield Town at the Accu Stadium on Tuesday night.
Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe to dissect the fallout from a disastrous evening for The Hatters where they offered little in a very poor performance.
The lads chat through the 90 minutes and the decisions which swayed the evening and then look around the whole picture and the anger which has surfaced and offer up some of the questions which people are fired up about.
The podcast then turns towards putting things right against Blackpool on Saturday afternoon as that game is previewed.
All this and plenty more, including of course the score predictions, on the longest-running, award-winning Luton Town podcast!

Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe to look ahead to a game the Hatters dare not lose if they want to maintain any sort of promotion challenge this term.
The lads look at everything around the fixture from the new man at the helm of the hosts, who is and isn’t likely to feature for them and what improvements the Town can make in terms of selection and performance to get the result they desire.

It was a second fruitless trip to Devon in a little over three weeks for the Town on Saturday when they fell to a 1-0 loss at Plymouth Argyle.
Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe to go back over another disappointing away day in a period of poor showings on the travels for the Hatters.
The lads look at the 90 minutes and point out where the game was so much more one-sided than the score suggested, pick out the statistics that do and don’t matter and discuss one or two questionable selection decisions.

The Town make the long journey to Home Park to take on Plymouth Argyle in the lunchtime kick off on Saturday in what is a third revenge mission in as many matches.
Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe to look ahead to a clash which looks a lot harder on paper than it did a month or so ago, given the upturn in form of the Pilgrims.
The boys look at some of the threats that the hosts carry including a couple of former Hatters and what their strengths and weaknesses are before they turn the attention to how Jack Wilshere and his men can sort the away form out.
The chaps look into the possible team options, what they would like to see and what they don’t want anything of and a statistic which might favour the Town.
All this and so much more including the big reveal of a song written about Jimbo and penned by a fan of the pod, plus score predictions on the longest-running, award-winning Luton Town podcast!

The Town were held to a 2-2 draw in arguably the best game of football of the season so far on Saturday afternoon.
Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe to look back on an entertaining game at the end of one of the more extraordinary weeks of football at Kenilworth Road.
The boys look back at the 90 minutes of action packed football against Lincoln, a match where the Town showed plenty of character and a lot of quality, going through the key moments and the big controversial call in the game.
The attention then turns to the never-seen-before fallout from the midweek Vertu Trophy game and a discussion around the outcome of the game and what disappointed both Kev and James.
They then reflect on a couple of key transfer window departures from Kenilworth Road in the last week and the impact they could have on the club.
