Luton v Plymouth: WIN or BUST? A MASSIVE SIX-POINTER! 🔥
Tuesday Feb 18, 2025
Tuesday Feb 18, 2025
Our season starts here!
The Town embark on a monumentally important game of football in the race to avoid the drop when Plymouth Argyle are the visitors to Kenilworth Road on Wednesday evening.
Kev is once again joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe and for the second time this week they are joined by lead singer of Luton band The Class, Callum Lee, to get stuck into a huge night for the Hatters.
The boys begin by reflecting on Plymouth and how they have struggled on the road this season and offer up some statistics which suggest that Argyle might not be quite as good as their recent results have suggested.
The attention then turns to the Town and the boys discuss what they want to see in terms of building on Saturday and whether there should be any changes to the side.
They discuss where exactly Luton can hurt Argyle before giving their score predictions. Do any of the chaps predict another magical evening to remember under the Kenilworth Road floodlights?
Listen in to find that out and a whole lot more on the longest-running, award-winning Luton Town podcast!

The boys go through the obvious positives from the day, both before the match in terms of a surprising team sheet, and the 90 minutes which unfolded.
The lads pick out the key performers and talk about the big moments in the game, most of which went against the Town, and how hope has been restored despite the absence of the desired result.
All this and plenty more on the longest-running, award-winning Luton Town podcast!

Luton sunk to the bottom of the Championship table on Wednesday evening when they surrendered meekly to lose 2-0 to Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe and Trust member Dan Barratt-Davis to look back on another night to forget on our travels and look ahead to the clash with Sheffield United on Saturday.
The boys begin by pulling the bad bits of the Stadium of Light encounter apart - and there were plenty of them - before discussing their fears that the relegation picture could be getting out of hand.
The attention then turns to Saturday's clash against Sheffield United and, firstly, what we as supporters can do off the pitch and then what changes can happen to the side on the pitch to give us the best chance of getting a result.
The podcast then concludes with the score predictions. Are any of the lads brave enough to side with a Town win!?

The Town embark on their second longest journey of the season on Wednesday night when they head to the Stadium of Light to take on high flying Sunderland.
Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe to look ahead to the Town’s first outing in 11 days as they look to get some revenge for the 2-1 loss at Kenilworth Road earlier in the season.
Listen in to find out which Sunderland player has been giving Kev nightmares and what other threats the Black Cats have to offer.
The attention then turns towards Luton and how Matt Bloomfield might line his side up after the raft of incomings in the final week of the transfer window and what the approach might be for the game.
The lads conclude the podcast with the score predictions. Will either back the Hatters to be the first away team to win at the Stadium of Light this season?

Kev, James and Tony are back for the second part of the February deep dive and in this part of the podcast the boys take some time to reflect on the players who have left the club in the January transfer window, particularly those who departed on deadline day.
The lads then look at whether the squad is good enough to remain in the Championship and whether they are more confident of that happening in light of the January business before some of your comments are reflected on and discussed.
The podcast concludes with a reflection on Tony’s time as Trust chairman after he broke the news that he was standing down from the position last weekend. It's a tear-jerker!

Technically, this is part 2 to the Sheffield Wednesday 1 Luton 1 reaction podcast, so check that out, But there's so much transfer activity to discuss, we made this its own episode.
With the rumour mill extremely busy as far as the Town is concerned there could yet be a lot of activity to come before the transfer business concludes.

It has been a busy week at Luton Town with players and staff coming and going ahead of a massive match against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Saturday.

The lads then reflect on the negative news regarding the two Tom’s – Lockyer and Krauss with the former having an injury setback and the latter ending his loan spell prematurely.
The boys then turn their attention onto the match and highlight the form and dangers that Sheffield Wednesday enter the contest with before looking at how Luton could line up with their new signings.
