Part 2 of the September podcast begins with the second part of our ‘Blast from the Past’ series where we focus on the 1982-83 season and the famous win at Manchester City in particular. The attention this month turns to the two full-backs from that afternoon in Clive Goodyear and Kirk Stephens.
Things are then brought back to the present day and what is to come with a discussion around the ‘All-Star Game’ idea thrown out by Chelsea owner Todd Boehly, and also how the need for the independent regulator is needed more than ever amid rumours that the Prime Minister Liz Truss is to put the idea on the shelf.
The chat then turns to the cost of living crisis with some clubs potentially wanting to bring their kick-off times forward to avoid using floodlights.

Kev, James and Tony are back for another episode of the Luton Town Supporters’ Trust podcast, which begins with the lads looking back at the last month of action prior to the international break.
As ever, part 1 includes a couple of player focuses which this month is on the superb Carlton Morris and a Tom Lockyer who is growing in importance. Also in this part of the podcast Kev catches up with Allan Campbell to get the view from inside the camp on the season so far, his own personal start to the campaign ahead of a possible 50th Town appearance at Hull, his first international cap and just what can be achieved over the rest of the season.

Kev caught up Town summer signing and top goalscorer Carlton Morris after training to get his thoughts on the start of the season, the beginning of his Luton Town career as well as the progression through the youth ranks.
The pair also chat about the two home matches scheduled for this week against Coventry and Blackburn, plus the two big games which loom on the horizon next month, in former club Norwich and the derby against Watford.
