This is it, Hatters! The moment we’ve all been waiting for is nearly upon us.
The Amex Stadium and Stamford Bridge are fine, but we’ve all dreamed of watching Premier League football at Kenilworth Road and soon we will.
The old girl has had a revamp over the summer and we can’t wait to be there for a cauldron atmosphere, the like of which few of us have seen before.
And there’s the not-insignificant matter of trying to win our first points of the campaign against an unbeaten West Ham United side that sits second in the Premier League and has already seen off Brighton and Chelsea, the two teams Luton has already played.
So, how on earth can Luton start this new era with a positive result? Well, we’ve got the full podcast gang of Kev, Tony, James and Dan to discuss just that.

The Luton Town Supporters Trust celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2023 year having been created, and initially named Trust in Luton, in 2003 to help force out unpopular former owner John Gurney.
Current club chief executive Gary Sweet was part of the group that effectively forced the club into administration and out of Mr Gurney's control, for a new consortium to take over, headed up by Bill Tomlins.
Another change of ownership again brought problems and administration followed again in 2007, until the club was eventually bought out by the fan-led 2020 consortium, headed up by Sweet, which has now helped steer the history-making Hatters from the non-league to the Premier League.
The Supporters' Trust is a democratic, non-profit organisation run by fans for fans. The purpose of a Trust is to help fans to join together and strengthen their influence over the way Luton Town Football Club is run, and to improve the links between their club and the community it serves.
In a way, we’re like a union, believing that many voices are stronger than one and that the best way to influence the club is to represent many fans, not just ourselves.
We have defended the Club in the tough times and maintain a shareholding in the Club to ensure we are able to protect and celebrate the future. We act as custodian of the image rights of the Club – to protect the Club name, kit colours, Club crest and mascot for the long-term interests of the Club.
And like our Club, we have integrity. We believe in fair play and are committed to represent the fans and influence the regulation and its enforcement of football.
And to collaborate with other Trusts to share our ideas, learn from best practice and presented a stronger voice to the authorities.
Join the Trust for as little as £10 a year (adults) and £5 for children and seniors.
We offer exclusive benefits, podcasts and meet the manager and players events and are committed to continually improving the experience of the Hatters’ fans, bringing the team closer to the fans and bringing the supporters’ voice into the boardroom, validating proposed activities and decisions that impact the fans.
We encourage the you to get involved, to enjoy the thrill (the ups and the downs!) of supporting Luton Town, and we raise money for both the fans and the community/charity, along with the Club, to help with immediate needs as we have seen during the recent COVID crisis, and to build a better future through significant capital projects.

Has there ever been a more glorious fan reaction to a Premier League defeat like we saw at Stamford Bridge?
So, a Raheem Sterling-inspired Blues beat Luton 3-0 to ensure Town remain pointless after two top-flight games, but the real story is what happened after the game.
More than 3,000 Luton supporters that packed into the west London stadium stayed in their seats until well after the final whistle to cheer and chant for their Hatters heroes, in a show of support and solidarity that will be alien to most Premier League fans.
It led manager Rob Edwards and chief executive to both comment on how emotional it made them feel and here in our Chelsea review podcast, Kev, Tony, James and Dan discuss the events of that evening, both on and off the field.
And with days remaining on the 2023 summer transfer window, the boys look ahead to where Luton might need to strengthen as well as a possible exit for one of the fan favourite stars that helped the Hatters win promotion to the big time.

S7 E2: Big match Premier League debut preview: Brighton v Luton
Friday Aug 11, 2023
Friday Aug 11, 2023
The day that we've all been waiting is almost upon us as Luton Town prepare to make their Premier League bow with a big test at Brighton and Hove Albion.
With nine new faces (well, eight, because Marvelous Nakamba is now a fully-fledged Hatter) it's a conundrum as to what Town's team will be. Still, your host Kevin Harper is joined by Dan Barratt-Davis and The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe to debate what the starting XI will be, plus how the Hatters can hurt the Seagulls, and just where the key battles will be on the big day. And, of course, we predict what the score will be.
Join the trio to build up to the big kick-off and the start of our seventh season covering Luton Town, as the longest-running Hatters podcast, and the only one-club football show to have gone from League Two to the Premier League.

S7 E1: Premier League - here we come, summer signings, sunstroke and Ross Barkley
Thursday Aug 10, 2023
Thursday Aug 10, 2023
We've made it! We started covering Luton Town in the fourth tier of English football back in 2017/18 and now, as the longest-running Hatters podcast, we begin season 7 as the only one-club football show to have gone from League Two to the Premier League.
On this episode we preview our first-ever season in the Premier League, talk transfers after a summer in which Town had signed, broken their transfer record three times and added eight new recruits (at the time of recording, but it's now nine) with Ross Barkley of ex Everton, Chelsea and England international fame added to the squad a few hours before we recorded.
We discuss the new rules that will be brought in this season, including the introduction of World Cup time-keeping and players approaching referees.
And we touch on the first game, the Premier League curtain-raiser away to Brighton and Hove Albion, but more on that in our next match preview podcast.
To celebrate our town, our club and our pod's own little piece of history, and a return to the big time after 31 years away we've had a Premier League glow-up, with brand-new retro style Panini sticker-inspired artwork, a new podcast logo (thanks to Ed Smith) and a new, old-school theme tune (courtesy of Seán Grant and the Wolfgang).... and that's just the start.
We've got a few more tricks up our sleeves and we can't wait to reveal them to you.
But for the first time, this term, WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE!

At the end of the podcast the chaps pick out their standout fixture from the list and pay homage to the excellent season ticket prices released by 2020 earlier in the week, which sees an adult who has had a season ticket since the League One days able to watch a year of Premier League football for £450.

Kev, Tony, James and Town fan Reg Harper look back on what was an incredible season for Luton Town Football Club, the one which saw them complete the journey from non-league to the Premier League in nine years.
The season review podcast begins with the boys picking out five key moments in the regular season, before reminiscing on the magical atmosphere created in the second leg of the play-off semi-final against Sunderland at Kenilworth Road.
The thoughts quickly turn to an even more magical and special day at Wembley Stadium where promotion to the Premier League was confirmed, followed by the parade through Town two days later.
There we got audio and interviews with club chairman David Wilkinson, CEO Gary Sweet, Dan Potts, Jordan Clark, Elijah Adebayo and the manager that guided Town to the promised land, Super Rob Edwards.
Sit back and listen to our review of the season in which the Hatters completed the EFL journey on the only Luton Town podcast that has been with the Hatters every step of the way from League Two to the top-flight!
Apologies for the small amount of poor audio quality. We'll treat ourselves to some new mic cables now we're in the Premier League.

Kev, James, Tony and Dan get together for the penultimate time this season to preview the biggest day in the club’s history when they take on Coventry City at Wembley Stadium for a place in the Premier League.
They discuss the stories surrounding the match, how the contest might play out and give out their personal predictions for the hugely anticipated clash.
In addition to that, Kev catches up with Joe Davis for a chat after he penned a brilliant article last week which revoked many memories for Luton fans. The podcast also includes the best bits of audio from a wonderful media day held ahead of the play-off final at Kenilworth Road with snippets from Gary Sweet, Mick Harford, John Still, Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu, Carlton Morris and Rob Edwards.

The boys got together ahead of the annual Luton Town Supporters' Presentation Evening on Wednesday May 3 to reflect on the last few weeks and look forward to a second successive Championship play-off campaign for the Hatters.
Before the discussion turns to the remainder of the season, the lads reflect on the size of the achievement of Luton finishing third in the second tier, their best finish for 41 years.
The guys then look ahead to the play-offs and what we can expect over the course of the two legged semi-final against Sunderland and what might be different this year to last.
Kev and James then seek out a host of players throughout the Presentation Evening for some exclusive chats about their thoughts on the season so far and what lies ahead with dreams of the Premier League within their grasp.
